Cultural Tourism Programs
The objectives of the Ngurdoto/Maasai Bushland Development programs are to enable visitors to
1)Interact with the indigenous human inhabitants;
2)Develop an awareness and understanding of the diverse
cultures of Tanzania;
3) Enjoy the natural scenic beauty of the area; and,
4) Appreciate the majestic animal inhabitants of the plains and
the forest.
Mr. John Henry Ngowi, Founder and Coordinator, has developed these ideas and established specific areas for this purpose. While recognizing that this project is a commercial enterprise operated for profit, it must be acknowledged that this project will be beneficial for all involved.
The visitor will experience new lands and new cultures. The travel fees paid by the visitor will be shared by Mr. Ngowi and the participant Maasai and Meru groups.
